Terms and Conditions for Custom / Bespoke Kits

1. Scope

This page applies to UNIKITS kits and emergency bags subject to customization (custom composition, branding, colors, specific layout) at the customer's request, in addition to the general terms and conditions of sale.

2. Order Validation

Any order for a custom kit is subject to prior validation of the composition and specifications with the customer (via a detailed quote or proof of approval, as applicable) before production begins.

3. Production Lead Time

Custom kits are subject to a specific production lead time, distinct from standard lead times, which is communicated to the customer upon order validation. This lead time may vary depending on the complexity of the customization and the availability of components.

4. Deposit

For any order of custom kits, CASPE may require a deposit upon ordering, the amount of which is specified in the quote. The balance is payable in accordance with CASPE's general payment terms.

5. No Cancellation After Production Begins

Any custom kit order validated by the customer is considered firm and final once production (or assembly) begins. No cancellation, modification, or refund will be possible beyond this stage, except with the express agreement of CASPE.

6. Composition and Tolerances

CASPE undertakes to respect the composition validated with the customer. In the event of a supply shortage of a component, CASPE will inform the customer and, where possible, offer an equivalent product of similar quality and functionality, subject to validation by the customer before shipment.

7. Regulatory Compliance of Kits

UNIKITS kits are composed in accordance with the applicable regulations in force (notably the orders relating to the composition of emergency kits and bags). The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the composition requested for customization remains compliant with the regulatory requirements applicable to their activity, as CASPE is not required to validate the regulatory appropriateness of a customization request that deviates from a standard composition.

8. No Medications

In accordance with the CASPE/UNIKITS product policy, no kit, including custom kits, may include medications or pharmaceutical products subject to prescription or specific regulatory status.

9. Returns and Warranty

Due to their custom-made nature, custom kits are excluded from the standard right of return. The warranty applies under CASPE's general terms and conditions, excluding any defect resulting from the composition requested by the customer themselves.
